Islamabad: Shahbaz Sharif, chief minister of Pakistan's most populous Punjab province, leaves for China today on a five-day visit aimed at bringing more Chinese private sector investment into the country, officials said.
The younger brother of former premier Nawaz Sharif will be accompanied by a delegation comprising his ministers and a number of federal and provincial lawmakers. The chief minister will hold meetings with Chinese senior officials and top business executives. The team will visit besides Beijing other major cities including Shanghai, Suz-hou, Nanjing and Shenzhen.
