Lahore: A pilot of PIA PK-757 flight reportedly slapped his supervisor, Ali Raza, for not allowing a passenger, a favourite of the pilot, to board with luggage beyond the prescribed limits.
PIA employees union Air League observed a strike Wednesday as a mark of protest.
The pilot has been identified as Javed Chaudhry, pilot of London bound PK-757 flight.
The incident sparked outrage among the staff who have refused to report to work unless Chaudhry tenders an apology.
PIA restored the operation for international flights after the higher authorities of PIA assured Air League that they would investigate the incident.
