Infant born with two heads dies in Karachi

Karachi: An infant who was born on Wednesday with two heads died Thursday morning in the National Institute of Child Health (NICH) in Karachi.

The two-headed baby was unable to survive due to difficulties in breathing, according to doctors at the hospital.

Further, the child had been kept in the intensive care unit (ICU) as he was unable to breathe.

Doctors said there is a very slim chance of survival for such children as flow of oxygen throughout the body is irregular due to the unusual body structure.
