Narendra Modi hasn't taken a day off in 22 years: Amit Shah

Kolkata: Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister and BJP President Amit Shah said in Kolkata on Tuesday that the premier is tirelessly working towards the betterment of the nation.

Addressing a convention on NRC at the Netaji Indoor Stadium here, Shah, an old associate of Modi, said the Prime Minister has not taken leave for a single day in the last 22 years.

"In the last 22 years, he hasn't taken leave for a single day... He also never went on vacation. He works 18 hours a day for 365 days in a year. You don't get such leaders often," Shah said.
