A German content creator sparked both curiosity and confusion on the streets of Bengaluru when he was spotted dancing in a traditional Kerala mundu (a traditional white garment worn ) at a busy traffic junction.

The man, identified as Noel Robinson, is a popular TikToker known for his energetic dance videos and signature style, revealing his voluminous afro by dramatically pulling off his hood or hat mid-routine. His latest performance, however, took a more cultural turn, featuring him in a white-and-gold mundu, a garment traditionally worn in Kerala.

The dance took place in the middle of a city road, catching the attention of commuters and passersby, and quickly went viral on social media. But the public performance also prompted intervention by local police, who briefly stopped Robinson and advised him not to disrupt traffic.

“He did not have any malicious intent,” said a Bengaluru City Police spokesperson. “However, we requested him to avoid blocking roads and ensure public safety during such performances.”

Reactions on social media were divided. While many praised Robinson for embracing Indian culture and showcasing traditional attire with enthusiasm, others raised concerns about safety and the appropriateness of performing on busy roads.
