Singapore: Australia and Singapore upgraded travel warnings for India on Friday after attacks by suspected Islamists killed scores of people in Mumbai.
"We advise you to reconsider your need to travel to India at this time because of the very high risk of terrorist activity by terrorists and militant groups," the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade said on its website.
Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs also advised Singaporeans to postpone "non-essential" travel to Mumbai, where operations were underway to free hostages.
