2 arrested for morphing Asad Awaisi’s photo

Hyderabad: Cyberabad police on Saturday arrested two youth for posting a morphed photograph of MIM president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi on the Facebook to defame him.

On the complaint of a MIM worker Mohammad Azeem a case was registered at the Pahadi Shareef police station. After the investigation the police arrested a youth Arun Kumar who had posted the morphed photo.

The police also arrested his friend Santosh Reddy who had liked the photo and made some comments on the post. Arun Kumar, 27, had posted the photo targeting Asaduddin Owais on January 17. Next day his friend Santosh Reddy liked the photo.

The police produced them before the court and remanded them to the judicial custody.
