Explosions rock Myanmar festival, 30 hurt: witnesses

Yangon: At least 30 people were wounded in three explosions at a new year water festival in the former capital of Myanmar on Thursday, witnesses and hospital sources said.

About 10 people, including some young women, were seen wounded near the Kandawgyi Lake, witnesses told Reuters.

Hospital sources said about 30 people had been admitted.
