Afghanistan: Seven civilians were killed in an air strike targeted at a Taliban commander in southwestern Afghanistan, provincial officials said on Monday.
On Sunday, one woman, two children and four men were killed by the air strike targeted in Bakwa district of Farah province, officials said.
"Mullah Malang, a Taliban commander in the district, was the target, but he was not among the casualties," said the provincial police chief.
The civilians killed were part of the Taliban commander family, an unidentified provincial official said.
