Kabul: Police say a group of Afghan army soldiers opened fire in a market in eastern Afghanistan, killing three civilians.
Police spokesman Ghafor Khan says the soldiers were arrested after Monday's shooting in Jalalabad, the capital of Nangarhar province. Police are still investigating the incident.
A spokesman for Nangarhar's governor confirmed three dead civilians and one wounded.
