ARIZONA: Two people were killed in a plane crash after an aircraft caught fire at a small airport in the US state of Arizona.

John Post, Mayor of the town of Marana, said the aircraft veered off the runway before catching fire.

Marana Police Department stated in a press release that the National Transportation Safety Board has taken over the investigation into the causes of the incident.
