Harare: Zimbabwe's opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai is a traitor, the government said on Thursday.
The government said Tsvangirai and Britain were plotting an "illegal regime change" to oust the nation's long-time ruler President Robert Mugabe.
The accusation came as Zimbabweans continued to wait for results of a March 29 presidential vote that Mugabe is widely believed to have lost.
In Brussels, the European Commission said that a further delay in releasing the results would be "unacceptable".
