Geneva: More than 1,000 people have died of the cholera epidemic that has ravaged Zimbabwe, the United Nations said on Thursday.
The cholera epidemic in Zimbabwe continues to spread and has claimed 1,111 lives among 20,581 cases since August, new figures from the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said.
A new outbreak in Chegutu Urban in Mashonaland West, west of Harare, where more than 378 cases and 121 deaths have been recorded, were included in the tally.
