Lagos: At least 43 Nigerian soldiers who just returned from a peacekeeping mission in Darfur were killed on Thursday in a road accident in the north of Nigeria, a military source said.
The soldiers, including an army captain, were in a convoy of seven vehicles in northeastern Yobe state when one of them collided with an oncoming petrol tanker, the source said.
