Rabat: A bus plunged off a road into a ravine in Morocco on Tuesday during heavy rain, killing at least 18 passengers, police said.
The bus carrying workers who had completed their night shift at a local facatory was travelling from the town of Bouznika, 40 kilometres (25 miles) south of Rabat, heading towards Casablanca when the accident happened.
"The bus fell into a ravine because of the heavy rain," a police officer told AFP. "There are 18 dead and three injured."
