Zayed receives Hamad, Djindjic

President His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan held talks with Bahrain Emir His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in Abu Dhabi yesterday.

They reviewed fraternal ties between the two countries and ways of furthering them as well as the issues discussed in the GCC Summit in Muscat.

The two leaders also exchanged views on the latest developments in the region and the international arena.

Earlier, Sheikh Zayed received at the Al Bahr Palace Zoran Djindjic, Prime Minister of Serbia. Sheikh Zayed and Djindjic discussed ways of enhancing joint cooperation in various fields.

The Serbian premier said his country was interested in developing relations based on mutual cooperation and friendship with the UAE, notably in the economic field.

Sheikh Zayed also expressed the UAE's eagerness to strengthen its relations with countries of the world in order to serve mutual interests.
