Workshop held for journalists

Dubai: Twenty journalists from Germany and the GCC, including the UAE, successfully completed a training workshop organised by the UAE Journalists Association in collaboration with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.

Ebrahim Al Markaz, board member and chairman of the Training and Development Committee, in his speech at the opening of the workshop, sought to highlight the immense technological advances in the media and communication field that had rewritten the rules of media operations.

The workshop comprised lectures by experts in the fields of media, political and foreign trade and the economy.

The workshop also included lectures on the development of journalism and production, design and editing.

The workshop concluded with the production of a magazine in Arabic and German and the production of a documentary.
