Dubai: The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a dust alert for Gasyoura, Al Dhafra region, and other parts of Abu Dhabi, warning that blowing dust may reduce visibility to less than 1500 metres. The alert is expected to remain in effect until 6pm.

While it might not be the ideal day for a long drive or outdoor jog, the skies will stay mostly fair to partly cloudy—so there’s still some sunshine breaking through the haze. This evening will bring cooler conditions with increasing humidity, especially in coastal and internal areas, raising the chance of mist formation, particularly in the northern regions.

Looking ahead to Thursday, the forecast remains fair to partly cloudy, with clouds building eastward by afternoon. Humidity returns by night, and by Friday morning, be on the lookout for fog or mist, especially if you're heading out early.

Winds will continue to shift between southwesterly and northwesterly, light to moderate but picking up at times during the day—kicking up more dust and bringing wind speeds of up to 40 km/h.

Seas will be moderate to relatively calm in the Arabian Gulf and slight in Oman Sea.
