The Met office issued alerts for rough sea conditions in the eastern region of the country
Dubai: Residents in the eastern region of the country are advised to exercise caution by the Met Office as there will be rough sea conditions in the Oman Sea until 3 pm, Thursday, February 27.
According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), fresh winds with speeds up to 40 km/hr can be expected along with rough sea conditions in Oman Sea, “with wave height reaching six feet offshore.”
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies are also expected tomorrow, February 27, with a probability of light rainfall over some northern areas. With humid weather conditions continuing at night, there can be a probability of fog or mist formation over some internal areas of the country on Friday, February 28, morning.
Besides the chance of rainfall, light to moderate winds can also be expected tomorrow, with speeds reaching up to 40 km/hr, “causing blowing dust at times during the daytime over the land.”
The highest temperature over coastal and island areas today, is expected to be between 16 and 21 degree Celsius, while the lowest temperature recorded today was 9.2 degree Celsius in Al Dhafrah Region.
