UAE weather: Chance of light rainfall and increase in temperatures

The Met Office forecasts a chance of fog formation over the next few days

According to forecasts, there will be an increase in temperatures starting on Thursday, February 20.

Dubai: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies are expected to continue across parts of the UAE, especially northward of the country.

According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), there will be a chance of light rainfall today in the northward regions of the country, with humid weather conditions expected at night and on Thursday, February 20, morning. This will lead to a chance of mist formation over some internal areas.

The NCM also forecasts a probability of light rainfall over some northern and coastal areas and islands on Thursday, February 20, with an increase in temperatures.

The highest temperatures in the coastal and island areas are expected to be between 25 and 29 degree Celsius, while the lowest temperature recorded today was 10.2 degree Celsius in Jais Mountains, Ras Al Khaimah.

Light to moderate winds, with speeds reaching up to 40 km/hr will be seen over coastal and island regions, as well as mountain regions of the country.
