Heads up, UAE residents – the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) is warning of a dusty and hazy day ahead, especially for those with dust allergies. Light to moderate winds are expected to stir up dust, which could significantly reduce visibility, particularly in eastern areas. If you’re prone to allergies or respiratory discomfort, it’s best to stay indoors to avoid the worst of the dust.
As the day progresses, expect a cloudy, murky afternoon. But the real shift comes at night, when temperatures remain mild, and a humid breeze will settle in, creating a thick, sticky atmosphere – especially in the inland regions. The NCM has also predicted the potential for mist to form, especially in the western parts, giving Friday morning a dreamy, foggy vibe.
Daytime temperatures will fluctuate across the country. Internal regions will see highs ranging from 23°C to 27°C, while coastal areas and islands will enjoy slightly cooler temperatures between 21°C and 25°C. For those heading to the mountains, temperatures will dip to a refreshing 15°C to 20°C.
Sea lovers should also be prepared, as the Arabian Gulf will experience moderate waves, while the Oman Sea could see rougher conditions by the morning.
