Dubai: Dense foggy weather conditions were reported over part of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Dhafrah, and Al Ain regions in the UAE, this morning. The Met Office issued red and yellow alerts, warning motorists to follow safety measures.

According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) foggy weather conditions were reported over Al Qudra, Al Minhad, and over Ruwayyah areas in Dubai. Dense foggy conditions were also reported over Arjan and Razeen areas in Abu Dhabi.

The NCM also reported foggy conditions over Habshan, Hamim, Owtaid, and Basa Dafas areas in Al Dhafrah region.

Motorists have been asked to follow safety measures while driving through the fog.

Temperature highs in the coastal areas of the country will be between 21 and 27 degree Celsius, while temperature lows will be between 10 and 15 degree Celsius over coastal areas in the UAE.

Light to moderate winds are to be expected with the speed reaching up to 40 km/hr in the coastal region.
