Ultimatum to owners of seven abandoned buildings in Dubai

Dubai: The civic body has issued an ultimatum to owners of seven abandoned buildings to either demolish them or carry out the necessary maintenance.

The buildings are located in Al Bateen, Al Hamriya, Naif, Al Sabkha, Al Raffa and Al Ras.

If the parties fail to respond to the order within the specific time period, Dubai Municipality will carry out demolition activities using its own machinery, and owners will bear the cost of the work, plus 20 per cent extra as administrative charges.
