UAE mission in Geneva offers assistance to Emiratis in Switzerland

Geneva: The UAE Mission at the UN Office in Europe has received phone calls from UAE citizens seeking assistance after they were forced to extend their stay in Switzerland as their flights were cancelled due to the spreading volcanic ash cloud from Iceland.

The diplomatic mission has facilitated the stay of those citizens in hotels and coordinated with the concerned airline companies to follow up their reservations so as to ensure their travel back home.
