Abu Dhabi: UAE fighter jets launched on Friday successful airstrikes against a number of Houthi-controlled targets in Yemen.

The air strikes come as part of the UAE’s participation in the Saudi-led Arab coalition’s destructive air strikes against Houthi militia targets in Al Bayda, areas where Houthis are gathered in addition to the militia’s armouries in Ma’rib and Mukayras.

The strikes targeted a land-mine factory in Saada, as well as camps of the Republican Guard, armouries in Ibb and Sanaa, resulting in massive losses for the guards.

The UAE fighter jets returned safely to their bases.
