Ras Al Khaimah: Two Asian men, in their 20s, were plucked from the sea by the Ras Al Khaimah rescue team after their jet ski overturned. The rescue operation to save the men lasted several minutes, authorities said.

Brigadier General Ganem Ahmad Ganem, director general of Central Operations at RAK Police, said the rescue team, headed by Sergeant Mubarak Sebt, found the men in distress after they had reportedly swallowed large quantities of sea water.

They were taken ashore and were treated by the national ambulance team and transferred to hospital.
