UAE traffic alert: Temporary road closure announced in Sharjah this weekend

 Sharjah’s Roads and Transport Authority (Sharjah RTA) has announced major road closures and traffic diversions on the Sharjah-Dhaid Road as part of ongoing efforts to improve road infrastructure and traffic flow.

In a social media post, the RTA said the exit leading to Al Dhaid City – Bridge No. 4 will be closed from Friday, April 18, to Monday, April 21, 2025, to facilitate construction work in the area.

As part of the announcement, the authority shared maps indicating the affected sections - lanes marked in red will be closed, while those in green will remain open.

Motorists are urged to plan their journeys in advance and use alternative routes during the closure period to ensure safety and minimise disruption.
