Two young Emiratis die in Al Ain car accident

AL AIN: Two young Emiratis, both aged 18, were killed in a car accident in Al Salamat region of Al Ain on Thursday.

Colonel Ahmad Mohammad Al Zuwaidi, director of the Al Ain Traffic Department of Abu Dhabi Police, said the operations room received a report that a four-wheel drive vehicle overturned in Al Salamat area of Al Ain. The police’s rescue team was dispatched to the scene.

Col Al Zuwaidi pointed out that the accident occurred due to excessive speed and loss of control of the vehicle, which led to sudden swerving and overturning of the vehicle.

Col Al Zuwaidi urged motorists to abide by traffic rules and speed limits for their own safety.
