Two lanes of Maqta Bridge closed till Saturday

ABU DHABI: Motorists may witness some traffic congestion when they cross Maqta Bridge in Abu Dhabi as the Abu Dhabi Police announced the closure of two lanes from 11am on Thursday.

Two fast lanes of the bridge will remain closed till 5pm on Saturday for the maintenance purpose, the police said.

On its official Twitter handle, Abu Dhabi Police said, “We would like to inform the public of partial closure of two fast lances on Al Maqta Bridge inbound direction for general maintenance from 11pm Thursday October 5 until 5pm Saturday October 7.”

Abu Dhabi Police asked all motorists to be extra cautious and reduce speed while approaching and crossing the bridge.
