Dubai: Service on the Red Line of Dubai Metro was hit by a technical snag around 3pm on Tuesday.
The service was disrupted by around half-an-hour between GIGCO Station and Jaffiliya station before returning to normalcy. Hundreds of passengers were stuck in several stations, waiting for the service to resume.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) confirmed a technical snag affected the service, but didn’t elaborate on the details of the snag. RTA announced the resumption of the service at 3.30pm.
