New footbridge near Corniche Hospital

Bridge can be used by pedestrians, cyclists and wheelchair users

Abu Dhabi: Residents can now use a footbridge to cross the street in front of Corniche Hospital in the capital, the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City announced in a statement sent today (March 23).

The pedestrian bridge is located on Shaikh Zayed Street, and can also be used by cyclists and wheelchair users via the attached elevators.

The municipality is currently working to complete the periodic maintenance of the capital’s 14 footbridges and 35 overhead crossings by the end of this month, the statement added.
