Jaywalker dies after being hit by car

Sharjah: A 30-year-old Sudanese national was killed instantly after being run over by a car in Al Dhaid area on Saturday evening.

The man was trying to cross a road from an undesignated area, said an official at Sharjah Police.

The body of the victim was moved to Al Dhaid Hospital, while the driver of the vehicle was taken into police custody for questioning.
