Free parking for Abu Dhabi residents from Thursday till Monday

Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi residents will be able to park their vehicles free of charge between November 30 and December 4, the emirate’s transport authority announced in a statement on Tuesday.

The free parking applies to all surface-level parking in the emirate from midnight on November 30 till 8am on Monday, December 4, the Integrated Transport Centre at Abu Dhabi’s Department of Transport has said. The move has been taken in commemoration of Martyrs’ Day and the UAE National Day.

However, motorists should follow residential parking regulations, which come into force between 9pm and 8am every day.

In addition, all transportation customer service centre will be closed between November 30 and December 3. They will resume work on Monday, December 4. However, the authority’s call centre will continue to operate 24 hours a day, and can be accessed by dialling 80088888.
