Dubai Taxi Corporation records 48% rise in profits

DTC also reported a sharp increase in net profits during the same period of 48.4 per cent compared to the same period in 2008.

Dubai: Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) at the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has confirmed a 27 per cent increase in its operational revenues during the first nine months of 2009.

DTC also reported a sharp increase in net profits during the same period of 48.4 per cent compared to the same period in 2008.

"DTC revenues increased from Dh457.18 million in 2008 to Dh580.78 million during the period from January to the end of September of the current year, while net profits jumped from Dh46.07 million in 2008 to Dh68.37 million this year," said Abdul Aziz Malek, CEO of Dubai Taxi Corporation.
