Telugu entertainment programme tomorrow

Telugu Sandadi, a four-hour 'total entertainment'programme, is scheduled to be held at the Al Nasr Leisureland icerink in Dubai tomorrow.

The mega event brought by Igma Advertising features a 26-member troupe from the Telugu film industry who will entertain the audience with their songs, dances, skits, magic and hypnotism.
The star attraction of the evening will be south Indian melody queen P. Susheela, who has to her credit over 10,000 songs in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and even Sinhalese. She will be accompanied by Nandi Award winner Vinod Babu, Vijayalakshmi and Surekha.

Comedy actor and Andhra Pradesh Labour Welfare Minister Babu Mohan along with Rajya Lakshmi (of Shankarabharanam fame), Jayalalitha, Ragini, Gundu Hanumantha Rao, Chitti Babu, A.V. Subrahmanyam will present dances and skits.

B. V. Satyanagesh will present his magic show and hypnotism.

The highlight of the evening is 'parody'Guruswamy, also known as 'reverse gear'Guruswamy. Parodying any song extempore and singing it in reverse, this gifted artiste can also yodel a song in different tunes spontaneously.

Other items include folk dances by Hari, Vishnu Priya and Archana led by Santosh.

Siva and Murthy, organisers of the show, said a percentage of each ticket sold will be contributed to the Indian Welfare Committee.

The tickets priced at Dh60, 30 and 20 will be available at Madhura Sweets and Perumal Flower shop in Bur Dubai, Shehzan Restaurant in Karama, Vijayawada Restaurant at Rolla in Sharjah, and Igma Advertisers, Ghusais.

The show begins at 7pm.
