Miss Moneypenny's, one of the UK's most successful mobile nightclubs, will perform in Dubai on Thursday for a one-night event at the Diamond Club. Resident DJ at the Diamond, DJ Ash, will be kickstarting the evening with his brand of tunes from 9.30pm uptil midnight, when international DJ Jim 'Shaft' Ryan takes over the controls till the early hours of the morning.

Miss Moneypenny's was founded in 1986 in Birmingham by four people who were bored of the lack of activity in the area. They put together a party on a boat and called it Chuff Chuff. Everyone on board enjoyed this party. Reputations spread, numbers swelled and in the summer of 1993, Miss Moneypenny's was born.

Miss Moneypenny's is one of the key players on the UK clubbing scene, along with Cream, Gatecrasher and Ministry of Sound. The music played is either quality house, funk and rare groove or a more eclectic funky sound.

Guest DJ Jim 'Shaft' Ryan, after more than a decade behind the decks, is undoubtedly one of the most praised, talented and hard-working figures in clubland today. Having had his finger on the pulse of dance culture for the last 15 years, he has been involved in DJing, promoting, radio, TV, writing, music production, fashion and clubs. Ryan is one of the pacesetters and brains behind the legendary Miss Moneypenny's.

Highlights of the Miss Moneypenny's experience will include fire eaters, stilt walkers, Moneypenny's trannies, international podium dancers as well as a flown-in complete Moneypenny's club decor. The best dressed couple will receive two tickets to fly to Kenya to go on a safari.

Tickets are priced at Dhs 35 for members (presale) and Dhs 65 for non-members on the door.
