Red Crescent provides aid in Tunisia

Tunis: Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) began distributing Ramadan aid to underprivileged families in a number of areas in the northwestern parts of Tunisia. The aid is being distributed in collaboration with the Tunisian Union of Social Solidarity and the Tunisian Red Crescent.

On Monday, 150 food packages were distributed to families in Charchara village in Beja, 150km northwest of the capital.

Officials in Beja praised the UAE’s humanitarian initiative and the ERC’s efforts, particularly during Ramadan. The week-long campaign will see more than 1,000 food packages distributed in the area.
