Visiting artist from Thailand demonstrates her skill in Dubai

Nudaeng Yensabai is an artist from Thailand who is visiting Dubai to exhibit her art. Yensabai has trained in the University of Thailand as a portrait artist for five years. While her focus is as a portrait artist she has extended her talent to painting sceneries and other types of work.

One of her customers wanted his garage, where he was to park his brand new Ferrari, painted to look like a 'pit stop'. The ability to reproduce just about anything from a photograph or old painting is the focus of Yensabai's talent.

She does portraits of all types and sizes on virtually any material – be it canvas, paper, wood, cloth or leather. "The quality of her work is what prompted me to give her an opportunity to display her talent outside of Thailand," says Terry Scott, who first saw Yensabais's work on display in the Central Art Gallery in Pattaya, Thailand.

Yensabai has had orders from people based in London to do portraits for them. Jumeirah Plaza have currently sponsored Yensabai to demonstrate her art in the mall from 7.00pm until 11.00pm daily for the period of Ramadan.

"The cost of her paintings is nominal as this is her first project in Dubai," says Scott. For people visiting the mall, who want a portrait made but do not have a photograph available, there is an option to have a polaroid photograph taken for the very purpose.

Yensabai enjoys teaching art and hopes to teach children painting on a regular basis in the future.
