UAE: Bangladeshi driver wins Dh1 million in Big Ticket draw

Ras Al Khaimah: A Bangladeshi driver in Ras Al Khaimah has won Dh1 million in the weekly e-draw of Abu Dhabi-based Big Ticket.

Mohammed, 56, who works as a personal driver, has been purchasing Big Ticket for a year after hearing about it from his friends.

Mohamed said: “We are a group of 19 people, we have been buying Big Ticket every month for one year now. This is the third time for me to buy a ticket under my name. We bought four tickets with the special offer ‘buy two, get two free.’ I selected two tickets, and my friends selected the other two. The winning ticket was chosen by me. I’m very happy for our winning.”

When asked about his plans, Mohamed said: ‘’I don’t know yet. I’ll share my prize with my friends, and with my cash portion, I might buy a new house in Bangladesh for my children.‘’
