One killed in Emirates Road accident

Dubai: A 39-year-old UAE national motorist was killed in a horrific accident on Emirates Road.

The speeding motorist lost control of his vehicle to hit a parked truck on the side of the road while driving in the direction of Sharjah on Sunday at 10.30pm.

He was killed instantly in the car crash, according to the traffic department of Dubai Police. His body has been moved to Rashid Hospital.
