Opposition Leader V.S. Achuthanandan yesterday ruled out the need for an inquiry against Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) Chairman M. Gangadhara Kurup in connection with his Private Secretary accepting a bribe from a job-seeker.
Speaking to reporters here, Achuthanandan charged the media with 'witch-hunting' the pro-communist chairman and observed that he had already proceeded against Kurup for accepting Rs200,000 for including the job-hunter's name in the PSC rank list for the post of Sub-Inspectors.
