New ideas for Car Free Day

Dubai: Dubai Municipality will hold a brainstorming session on Thursday on ways to enhance the experience of the next Car Free Day. Residents can also provide suggestions through the municipality’s website, dm.gov.ae, or its social media sites. Almost 7,000 people left their cars at home on February 19 and took to public transportation on Car Free Day, an annual event held by Dubai Municipality to raise awareness on sustainable living.
