Mohammad’s poem to be sung at Arab Media Forum

Dubai: A Message to the Nation, a poem by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, will feature in the award ceremony of the 14th Arab Journalism Award on May 13 at Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai.

This was announced by the General Secretariat of the award on Sunday.

In the poem, which will be sung at the ceremony by Tunisian singers, Lotfi Bouchnak and Latifa, Shaikh Mohammad depicts the exceptional circumstances that the Arab nation is going through that have cast a heavy shadow on the reality and future of the Arab region.

He also warns against any let-up in the efforts to face the huge challenges that the Arab nation is encountering.

The poem poses questions about the dream of pan-Arab unity and the goals of the evil machinations crafted by the enemies of the Arab Nation.

Concluding his poem, Shaikh Mohammad says that the solution lies in the unity of Arabs and their rejection of division that prevents unity and realisation of their dreams as per the teachings of Islam.
