Man looks for missing brother in hospitals
Sharjah: The brother of a mentally unstable man who went missing from his house in Sharjah last week is desperately searching local hospitals.
Ramillo, the brother of the 29-year-old Indian, said he had gone to the Indian Consulate and submitted all the necessary papers to help him find his brother.
Mahesh Samal was staying with his brother in Al Rolla's Mussalla area when he disappeared last Tuesday. Mahesh's brother had brought him here on a visa from the Sharjah Naturalisation and Residency Department to find a job washing cars or as a labourer.
Mahesh left his brother's apartment on Tuesday last week after 3am and has not come back.
"I went to the Indian Consulate and submitted all the necessary documents, so they can help me find my brother. They asked me to come back on Monday. I have knocked on all the doors that could help me find my brother," Ramillo said yesterday.
He said he was visiting hospitals with his brother's photo until midnight to check if he was there, especially the mental wards.
An officer at Al Gharb Police Station said they were searching for him and his details have been forwarded to all the country's police departments, as well as CID and hospitals.
Mahesh had entered the country on a business visa on September 29.
Ramillo said his brother is mentally unstable and he is not aware of what is going on around him.
Mahesh was wearing a T-shirt and pyjama (a loose-fitting pants) when he went missing and does not carry any identification papers with him.
