Lost bull holds up traffic in Sharjah

Dubai: Motorists were shocked to see a bull walking near Corniche Street, as the wandering animal halted traffic in Sharjah.

A resident shared the video clip on social media, and within one day, generated over 99,000 views.

The bull was caught on camera as it walked towards the corniche, before standing in the middle of the road.

To scare the animal away, two men can then be seen running behind the bull and trying to get it off the road.

Commenting on the video, social media user @afro_pharaoh, said he the incident on Sunday, as he lives close by. 

This is not the first time that animals have created traffic jams in the UAE.

Last March, a loose crane was running on a bridge near Airport Tunnel in Dubai, adding further traffic to the morning commute.

In May 2016, two peahens were found roaming Shaikh Zayed Road around the Dusit Thani Hotel.
