Iomega launches high capacity zip drive

Iomega Corp launched the highest capacity drive (750 MB) in its popular flagship Zip family.

At 50x50x50 read/write/ rewrite speed and with three times more capacity than the existing Zip 250 MB solutions, the new Zip 750 MB drive and disk is positioned to become a fast and durable portable storage solution to protect and back-up important business and personal data.

In addition to the huge capacity, the sleek and stylish Zip drive is both PC and Mac compatible and features a blazingly fast USB 2.0 data transfer rate of up to 8 MB per second.

Users will be able to transfer a 4 MB document in just half a second and this is almost 10 times faster than the current transfer speed of 0.9 MB per second for the Zip 250 MB drive.
