Abu Dhabi: The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP) is participating in the 14th Annual Investment Summit (AIM) 2025, which will be held from April 7 to 9, 2025, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).

The event is organised under the theme "Mapping the Future of Global Investment: A New Vision for a Balanced Global Order."

This year’s edition is expected to bring together over 25,000 participants from around the world, including government leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, and private sector representatives.

Throughout the summit, the Authority’s team—representing the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs and the General Directorate of Customs and Port Security—will showcase three strategic initiatives that play a key role in attracting entrepreneurs, drawing foreign investment, and fueling sustainable economic growth.

At the ICP exhibition booth, visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about the UAE’s innovative residency options, including the Golden Visa and the newly launched Blue Visa, as well as the Unified Customs Tariff System. The team will provide personalized guidance, answer questions, and explain the requirements, benefits, and opportunities associated with each program—helping investors envision a long-term future in the UAE.

Highlights of the Authority’s Participation

Unified Customs Tariff System

The ICP is introducing its Integrated Centralised Customs Tariff System, one of the core components of the Emirates Customs Platform. As the first of its kind in the UAE’s customs sector, the system aims to streamline customs procedures, reduce processing time, and facilitate international trade. It also strengthens national security, improves regulatory compliance, and enhances the competitiveness and attractiveness of the UAE’s economic and customs environment.

Golden Residency Visa

The Golden Visa program, designed to empower long-term residents in the UAE, offers eligible individuals—investors, entrepreneurs, exceptional talent, scientists, and professionals—the ability to live, work, invest, and study in the UAE without the need for a local sponsor. The visa comes with exclusive benefits, contributing to the UAE’s goal of becoming a global hub for innovation and talent.

Blue Residency Visa – A world first

As the first long-term visa of its kind globally focused on environmental impact, the Blue Residency Visa honors individuals with exceptional contributions to environmental sustainability and climate action. This includes efforts in marine, land, and air conservation; sustainable technologies; clean energy; and the circular economy. The visa is open to both residents of the UAE and eligible contributors from around the world.

Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Director General of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP), emphasized the growing global importance of the AIM Investment Summit, which has seen consistent growth in international participation from key stakeholders in government, investment, and industry.
“AIM is a vital platform for promoting the UAE’s advantages as a destination for residency, business, and innovation,” said Major General Al Khaili. “It allows us to highlight our advanced residency systems and the UAE’s dynamic, investor-friendly environment, showcasing the diverse opportunities available for growth and long-term stability.”
