Plans to raise money for cancer patients

Two-day initiative by the Dubai Ladies Club begins on October 22

Dubai The Dubai Ladies Club, in cooperation with the Dubai Health Authority and the Emirates Medical Association, will launch a charity campaign to raise money for supporting breast cancer patients and the Cancer Research Centre.

The two-day charity campaign, titled Think Pink, aims to help fund cancer patient care and cancer research.

It will begin on October 22.

Eman Al Mansouri, events director at the Ladies Club, said: "We are happy to organise this drive for the second executive year with the aim of raising money to increase the public awareness about the importance of early diagnosing and detection to fight the disease."

The campaign will be launched in solidarity with the International Campaign to Support Breast Cancer Patients.
