Dubai: The Dubai Fitness Challenge, also known by the hashtag #Dubai30x30, has inspired ordinary folks to make physical activity a part of their daily habit.

The challenge encourages citizens, residents and visitors to sweat it out and get energised.by engaging in physical activity for 30 minutes daily for a month — and then, hopefully, for life — thus making Dubai one of the world's healthiest cities.

But an employee of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) here has taken it a bit further, tackling a different kind of physical challenge — by pulling a double-decker bus.

The two-storey buses are a familiar sight here, typically ferrying passengers between Dubai and Sharjah — and sits up to 160 passengers.

Though the unit was empty this time, but it still would have weighed about 12.6 tonnes (based on London's iconic double-deckers, according to Wikipedia).

The "strongman" used a towing rope slung around his arms and hooked to the front of the bus.

Initially, the eight-wheeler wouldn't budge.

Filling, by pulling all his strength, he did manage to move the vehicle.
