Dubai: The Latifa Hospital in Dubai has witnessed an increase in children seeking psychological counselling, up from the last quarter of 2011. This year the hospital has catered to more than 500 cases, of which 157 are new, at its psychological counselling department within its rehabilitation services section. Last year it received 203 cases of which 82 were new.

The rehabilitative service at the hospital include physiotherapy, occupational and speech therapies, therapy for language and swallowing difficulties, neonatal developmental and assessment of premature infants.
